Slow Suicide: How Korean Farmers are Poisoning Themselves with Pesticides

Short Description:
This report is based on a survey of pesticide use in South Korea in 2003 that was carried out by the former Citizens Alliance for Consumer Protection of Korea (CACPK), now CK (Con- sumers Korea), an organisation which is a network partner and steering committee member of the Pesticide Action Network Asia-Pacific (PAN AP). Although the survey is focused on Korea, it is integral to the international campaign against the marketing and use of pesticides that has united a broad coalition of concerned scientists, citizens groups, farmers and others for over more than three decades now.
