What are the most dangerous countries for farmers, indigenous people, and land activists in 2019?

From January 1 to November 30, 2019, PAN Asia Pacific (PANAP) monitored a total of 138 cases of human rights violations related to land conflicts and struggles in 23 countries worldwide.

The Land & Rights Watch aims to provide a glimpse of the alarming state of human rights confronted by rural communities around the world that are defending their right to land and resources. Watch out for PANAP’s Land & Rights Watch yearend report, out on International Human Rights Day, December 10.
