PANAP launches New IPAM platform

Today, Pesticide Action Network Asia Pacific and its partners launch the new IPAM platform website. Now called the International People’s Agroecology Movements ( formerly International People’s Agroecology Multiversity), the IPAM platform will focus more on highlighting the Field Learning Sites as a network of movements advancing People-led Agroecology across the globe.

With the same domain name www.ipam-global.org, the new portal aims to be a more vibrant, more dynamic platform by providing opportunities of engagements between and among the existing FLSs, inviting more practitioners to be part of the platform, and by actively highlighting and promoting diverse activities on ground and online across the globe, such as festivals, trainings, learning exchanges, paid courses or campaigns.

The new website also contains the section called “narratives of agroecology,”  where stories of successes, struggles and continuing journeys of organisations, institutions, movements and individuals will be featured to inspire people to join the ever-growing people’s agroecology movement all over the world. It will also continue its function as an open library for different agroecology literatures, be it research papers, analyses, newsletters, videos, etc.

With the launch of the new website, the IPAM team will also be more active in engaging with partner FLSs and will continuously craft strategies and find more opportunities to utilize this movement in advancing agroecology as our alternative to corporate agriculture.###
