Call for Interns / Volunteers: Social Media & Digital Communications

Pesticide Action Network Asia Pacific (PANAP) is looking for volunteers and interns to support our social media and digital communications work.  This is an opportunity to contribute to a regional movement working for agroecology, pesticide elimination, environmental justice, and the rights of smallholder farmers, rural women, and agricultural workers across Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in supporting PANAP’s social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Support content creation (posts, captions, visuals, short videos, reels)
  • Monitor engagement and support basic analytics
  • Coordinate with the communications team on campaign messaging

Who Should Apply:

  • Students or recent graduates in communications, media, development studies, environmental studies, or related fields
  • Volunteers passionate about social justice, environmental health, or digital activism
  • Strong writing skills in English (additional languages are an asset)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic design tools (e.g. Canva) is a plus

What You’ll Gain:

  • Hands-on experience with a regional NGO and global advocacy networks
  • Exposure to international policy processes and grassroots movements
  • Mentorship and learning opportunities in advocacy communications
  • Certificate of internship/volunteering (upon completion)

Duration & Modality:
3 months to 6 months.  Flexible, part-time | Remote / online
