PAN Asia Pacific’s Executive Director, Sarojeni Rengam, on the RAMSAR Resolution

Sarojeni Rengam, Executive Director of Pesticide Action Network Asia and the Pacific (PAN AP), speaks about the RAMSAR Resolution – They need to reduce pesticides, prioritise addressing the health impacts particularly the chronic effects on poor and marginalised communities. She also called for biodiversity based ecological agriculture and farmer field schools IPM to be prioritised to ensure farmers empowerment.
