◦ (India / APVVU,  SAHANIVASA and NISARGA) Press release on the 16 Days of Global Action activities

◦ (India / Kudumbam) Oct 1-15: Facilitate orientation with the rural youth on availing different welfare schemes for farmers during the pandemic crisis; Oct 1-7: Facilitate solidarity initiatives with youth in rural areas

◦ (India / SRED) Training on agroecology for youth women Thazavedu Village

◦ (Ivory Coast / JVE) Oct 1-16: Digital campaign on social media to promote agroecology

October 2

◦ (India / APVVU,  SAHANIVASA and NISARGA) On the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, inaugurate the 16 Days of Global Action; distribution of pamphlets on the protection of agroecology and food sovereignty in the present context; (Oct 2-14) solidarity and village level educational campaign on the recent three anti-farmer and corporate-driven legislations and submit the memorandums to the parliamentary committee to oppose the bills

◦ (India / Kudumbam) Oct 2-4: Facilitate farmer collective actions engaging rural youth in identifying farmers interested in cultivation and revival of traditional seeds, especially traditional paddy and millets

◦ (India / SRED) Planting palm tree seeds in Pallur Village

◦ (Senegal / PAN Africa) Organize a press conference with national and local media (radio stations, written press)
