6 largest agrochemical TNCs to stand trial for human rights violations
October 23, 2026
On December 3 to 6, 2011, a Permanent People’s Tribunal (PPT) will convene to indict Agrochemical Transnationals for gross violations of human rights. Throughout the years, these TNCs have caused the death and illnesses of innocents, irreversible environmental damage, willful destruction of livelihoods, and increasing loss of people’s control over food and agriculture. The PPT is a valiant endeavour to stop the impunity with which agrochemical TNCs commit crimes against the people, and to create an effective system of corporate accountability.
